MSW - Social Welfare, UCLA
I was always drawn to helping individuals who are disadvantaged and marginalized. As I explored different career paths, I initially started in research within clinical psychology and felt that there was a disconnect between research and practice. This led me to become interested in training as a clinician and I transitioned to getting my MSW.
I love to explore new food places, whether that be a new cafe, dessert shop, or restaurant. I also enjoy spending time with my 9-year-old Maltese and 10-month-old baby boy! One day, I would love to learn pottery.
I try to carve out at least 15 minutes a day to stretch and have a quick yoga session. I notice how much of a change and sense of calm it brings on my mind and body.
God Bless you Mr. Rosewater by Kurt Vonnegut. I love a good social satire! Same as The Great Gatsby.

I am a plant mom and love to recharge outdoors gardening, planting, and being a green thumb.
I have a 9-year-old Maltese named Andy. One day I randomly received a parking ticket under his name, with my address underneath it! Turns out the previous tenant's name was Andy and had the exact same last name as mine. I thought my dog was out living his best life, driving around in my car!
