My main philosophy when providing care for clients is creating a safe space where the client can feel comfortable opening up and sharing which is an imperative aspect of the relationship-building phase of therapy. I have a relaxed conversational style which often helps with clients who may be apprehensive or nervous. I value my clients’ voices and view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership. We will work together to overcome obstacles and challenges and celebrate successes.
I have over ten years of experience serving multiple populations all of which include, those of diverse backgrounds including, those who may be facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, Bipolar Disorder, trauma, racial trauma, domestic violence, dual diagnosis, and stress.

I have been working in the mental field for over 15 years and started as a teenager working with kids on the spectrum. I am naturally patient and have always enjoyed helping people. I enjoy the therapeutic process because you can help support clients transform their lives for the better and there is nothing like being able to be a part of that journey.
I began my career working in the non-profit sector and YMCA is one of my favorite non-profits. Their philosophy on building developmental assets and community aligns with the work that I am passionate about.
What best recharges met is being at the beach, a good HITT workout, watching a Netflix movie or series, salsa dancing, or planning vacations.
I have two dogs, a 16-year-old chihuahua, and a 2-year-old Maltipoo we gained during covid lockdown.
