I had several personal experiences that led me to the mental health profession. So many people helped me in my journey along the way, so I wanted to give back and help others. I know first-hand that with the proper support, encouragement, and interventions most people can overcome barriers, defeat challenges, and begin living their best life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with kids, this also includes kids that are not mine. I love kids' sporting events, birthday parties, plays, performances, graduations, etc. I love investing in the future and being a positive role model for children that need one.
Quiet time and meditation are a part of my daily routine. This is practiced first thing in the morning to get my day started and at night to put me to sleep.
