As a fellowship-trained medical family therapist with over a decade of experience, I have helped thousands of clients recovering from anxiety, depression, and trauma. I know that you don't just want to "talk about it"; you want to solve these problems. All of my clients want their life back and we will work together to make that happen. Don't let the fear, lack of motivation, hyper-vigilance, hopelessness, sadness, or panic attacks hold you back any longer.
I've been helping people recover from these problems for over a decade. Trauma not only affects the mind, but it also affects the body. It can take away your sense of security and safety. I use evidence-based therapies and techniques like EMDR to help you break free from this prison. You can find balance instead of just feeling too overwhelmed or too numb.

I am a San Francisco transplant from Boston. I married the yin to my yang. And, I’m the proud mama to two little cats and a dog: Fenjoon, our Kinkalow-Munchkin; Duchess, our Scottish Straight Ear; and Marjorie, our Beagle. I love to run, and fall off-and-on that wagon quite often. My music tastes are best described as: Sad man with a guitar.
Every morning I open the blinds, crack the windows (even in the winter!), and listen to hype-up music as I get ready for the day. In the evenings, I light a candle, listen to soothing tunes, and reflect on my day through journaling. I also spend time every day cuddling my two cats and dog.
I absolutely love to read (and write!). I've read many books more than once. However, my favorite piece of writing that I've read hundreds of times is Burnt Norton by TS Elliot.
I just started working for the Survivors of Torture International. I love this organization because of its commitment to helping people who have lived through the unimaginable rebuild the foundation of their life.
I recharge by talking to friends on FaceTime, walking my two cats and a dog, drawing zentangles, writing short stories, rewatching the same two 90's TV shows, and listening to music.
