Therapy Style

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to focus on bringing awareness of how thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected and impact each other. One of my goals is to help my clients find their passion and wellness to thrive.

I've worked with a diverse group of clients with a wide range of mental health, behavioral, and academic needs. My focus was to help youth and their families better deal with life stressors, changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to improve self-esteem, form healthy relationships, and improve everyday life. I would help coordinate and collaborate with families, school staff, social workers, community agencies, and in-house staff and medical providers as needed.

I went on to work in a group private practice located in Rocklin, CA, to provide individual mental health psychotherapy services to youth and adults struggling with mild to moderate mental health concerns in all stages of life.

My passion for working with individuals first grew from my struggles. I fought anxiety and depression, struggled with making friends, and lacked a sense of direction in my life. It was when I felt I hit rock bottom that I found the motivation to push and challenge myself to be the best that I could be. This is when I recognized that I wanted to help support and guide others; wanting to be the person I wished I had.
