I have been working in the Human Service Field for over 13 years. I have been providing counseling in an outpatient setting for 7 years, and the rest have been dedicated to crisis work. I specialize in treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, relationships, crisis and have a history of working with individuals who have co-occurring substance use. I am passionate about providing strength-based, recovery-focused care, empowering the individual to lead their treatment and change their life. I enjoy what I do: planting seeds of hope and guiding change.

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending time with my family, my husband and three children. I enjoy reading and crafting and leading mental health groups at my church.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I pray. Taking this time to nurture my spirituality grounds me and reconnects me to my purpose.

How do you recharge?

I go to nature, unplug, wake with the sunrise, enjoy my coffee, enjoy being in the moment.

The Giver. I am fascinated by fictional accounts of human behavior and creative perceptions of future societies.
