Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Solution-focused, Strengths-based
In my work, I believe that individuals are the experts of their own lives. My goal is to create a safe environment, and to be able to support clients in their healing journey. I utilize evidence-based approaches (Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution- Focused) to help individuals understand their emotions and behaviors, as well as reconnect with themselves, focus on solutions, and develop new skills/tools. Areas of interest include challenging life transitions, communication/relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.
I have extensive experience working with clients from different cultural, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I am also bilingual and provide therapy in Spanish.

I love traveling, watching documentaries, and spending time with family.
Being engaged in the here and now. Whether I am playing a game of cards with my kids, doing laundry, or doing my daily skin ritual, I make sure I am doing one thing at a time. I also practice having good boundaries.
Man's Search for Meaning. It is a book that I still reference and it gives me so much perspective. One of the main things I took from it, is that even suffering can cease to be suffering at the moment it finds meaning.
I love to take myself out on coffee dates. I also love to take impromptu trips with my kids.
