Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Relational, Strengths-based
My therapy approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering, as I believe that true and lasting change occurs within this context. I focus on illuminating strengths and helping individuals align with their core values, which ultimately reduces suffering and promotes a more meaningful life.
I am passionate about providing culturally responsive care to adults of all ages. I believe in treating the whole person, so we will not only focus on reducing your distress, but we will also explore the impacts of biological, social, and cultural factors on your mental health. I have a strong background in child development, which informs my passion for empowering parents and families, as well as my understanding of trauma, resilience, and human development. My goal is to equip you with meaningful insight and practical tools for growth.
Depending on your treatment needs, my role may involve providing space to process your experiences, guiding you with questions, sharing my observations, teaching you skills, or providing relevant mental health education.
