I believe that in order for my clients to have space for growth, they need an environment that is trusting, non-judgmental, validating, and supportive.

My Therapy Style

I became licensed in May 2020 and have worked in a handful of outpatient and hospital settings within my community since 2013. I use a collaborative approach with my clients while providing a warm and nurturing space for healing and growth to take place. I cater to my client's individual needs and often use various evidence-based treatment strategies that can be helpful for authentic, sustainable, and positive change.

I enjoy working with individuals and families. I have experience assisting my clients in working through depression, anxiety, anger, perinatal mood disorders, substance use, behavioral issues, parenting issues, women's issues, and trauma. I believe that for my clients to have space for growth, they need an environment that is trusting, non-judgmental, validating, and supportive. In working with me, I hope that my clients will feel seen, heard, and understood. My ultimate goal is to help my clients feel empowered to live the life they desire and achieve alignment with who they are, balance, and overall wellness.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I knew since childhood that I wanted a career that involved helping others. I have mental health history within my family and my own life experiences that have sparked a passion within for helping others to work towards wellness.

What are your interests outside of work?

My interests involve spending time with my family and friends, attending my children's sporting events and school activities, traveling to beautiful places, crafting and interior design, fitness, attending concerts and music festivals, and reading non-fiction books.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I try to practice mindfulness on a daily basis as this helps me to stay in the present and remain emotionally available for myself, my family, and my clients.

Do you have any pets?

My family includes a German Shepherd mix, a Siberian Husky, and a long-haired Tabby cat (whom my human family would argue is my favorite). I love my dogs and cat. They give me great joy! A side hobby is taking pictures of my cat when I find him in strange places around the house.
