Since I was a child I felt a pull to help and support others. I was lucky enough to be guided into the social work field by a professor in my undergraduate research lab specializing in emotions. Working at a Children's Hospital and a maternity hospital provided me with a unique skill set and appreciation for being a pillar of support during a parent's/child's darkest moments. Since diving into the telemedicine therapy realm, I have found it incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and change that can take place in therapy. I feel very lucky to have found a profession that inspires me daily and that allows me the honor of helping others in their most difficult moments.
I am a big movie buff. I love to watch movies with my Fiancé, visit art museums, and read non-fiction. I also consider myself a foodie and love to cook and try new restaurants in my area.
Working out has done wonders for my mental health and well-being!
I have two terrier mixes, Aria is 14 years old and Tchaikovsky is 4.
