I believe in the healing power of gentle curiosity and deep listening. My clients' safety and comfort are my highest priority. I will help you identify your goals for therapy and share my vision for how we can work together to achieve them. My career extends over 25 years of helping people harness their strengths to overcome obstacles and get stronger and happier.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Metaphor and Somatic practices to help my clients achieve their therapy goals and gain insight into themselves and life.

I took my first psychology class in high school and it fascinated me. I have always yearned to make sense of human behavior and discover how to live a meaningful life.
I am a dedicated dog mom! Lots of walking and hiking gives me time to stay current on professionally-related podcasts and audio books. I also love Conan Needs a Friend and This American Life.
I take my dogs to multiple parks in my neighborhood and I have groups of fellow dog parents at each one. Checking in with my social network and getting doggy snuggles every day keeps me grounded and cheerful.
The only book I've read cover-to-cover multiple times is the DSM (professional reference for diagnosing psychological conditions). What can I say, I really do love my career!
I've developed an almost-daily self-care habit of eating a big bowl of popcorn while watching "The Office". A tasty snack and a laugh give me a good boost. I'm also a big fan of napping.
