I can’t change the world around you, but I can help you find your footing. Whether you’re wanting to feel comfortable in your own skin, struggling to set boundaries, or seeking meaning and connection – therapy is a place to listen deeply to your inner wisdom and experience. Together, we can access the resources to build your self-compassion and make the changes you’ve been struggling to make.

Using a trauma-informed approach and an evidence-based practice called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, our sessions will be both healing and transformative. My role is to offer a supportive and restorative space to guide you towards the life you want to live and the person you want to be. 

While I have specialized training in perinatal mental health, I work with adult clients (18 years and older) from a wide variety of backgrounds, in all phases and transitions of life.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

A daily mindfulness practice, even if brief, helps me to stay centered in my body and grounded in the present moment. This creates a greater sense of peace and wisdom as I navigate my day.

Sometimes mindfulness looks like walking in nature, playing music, cooking, or connecting with a loved one.

What book have you read more than once?

When I revisited my high school copy of The Odyssey in college, I was struck by my old underlinings and annotations. The way I made meaning, what felt important and how I interpreted pieces of the story had shifted quite a bit in the five years that had passed. Since then, I’ve continued to re-read that same copy every several years, adding layers of myself to the pages. I find a lot of joy in getting lost in stories to broaden my perspective.

Do you have any pets?

I recently rescued a puppy and have loved observing him witness the world for the first time. I have a vivid memory of him peering into some grasses and watching a white butterfly soar out from below with a complete look of awe. Every time I see a white butterfly I smile, remembering his fresh-eyed perspective.
