Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Solution-focused
My approach is client-centered. I make you my priority focusing on each individual’s needs and goals. I incorporate each client’s strengths and aid the client in building upon them. I am an integrative therapist, drawing upon multiple techniques that include Mindfulness Techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Solution Focused Therapy, Existential Therapy, Art Therapy, and Strategic Therapies to assist the client in attaining their goal and to experience positive, successful growth.
It is my belief that the therapy experience should be supportive, free of judgment, and non-threatening. Respect, trust, and empathy are the foundation of my practice.

Outside of work, I enjoy painting, singing, hiking, swimming, and taking care of my son.
I have read 1984 by George Orwell more than once as I find that the way society's influence creates and imposes structure on individuals is not only interesting but finds many parallels to today's sociopolitical structure. It is amazing how one's environment can shape a person's thoughts and actions.
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is my favorite organization because they work hard to build better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness and advocate for access to mental health for all populations.
Visiting nature is an important way for me to recharge as it helps me disconnect, feel free and helps me to focus on what truly matters in life.
