Gottman method couples therapy, Psychodynamic, Relational, Solution-focused
As a relational, holistic healer, I help my clients to explore and identify the experiences they’ve carried with them from childhood into adulthood by discovering what beliefs and values no longer serve the life they’re wanting to live. I empower my clients to process, discard and/or rewrite old stories and behaviors that are sabotaging their ability to live a thriving life so that they can cultivate habits (of the mind, body, and spirit) that can become daily practices. Through our work together, you're able to feel joy about creating and living this one precious life of yours again, or for the first time.

I felt called to serve those who suffered in ways that went beyond the medical model of providing a diagnosis and medication. I wanted to help people to heal emotional wounds, in soul-deep ways that were long-lasting and empowering. And it's been an absolute honor to do all of those things over the years as a therapist.
My morning ritual consists of journaling, meditating, pulling oracles cards for divine guidance for the day, and drinking hot tea. I love going outside, whether it's for a 10-mile hike, yoga in the part, or a simple walk to the mailbox - I need to feel the earth beneath my feet, and the sun (or rain, or wind) on my cheeks. It reminds me that I am alive.
Rises Sister Rise by Rebecca Campbell - during the most challenging times in my life, I receive profound grounding through this book. The literature reminds me of the wisdom that resides in all of us.
The Loveland Foundation - they are a phenomenal organization that provides resources for black girls and women access to mental health support with therapists in private practice while reimbursing said therapists their hourly rates.
