Counseling and therapy are a process of healing. It has been shown to be effective in numerous studies and my approach is simple and straightforward. Our goal is to get you feeling better as quickly as possible and I use the best clinical practices to get you there. Clients are often struggling with painful emotions, anxiety, depression, as well as disrupted lives, and trauma. I will use evidence-based emotional, cognitive, somatic, and behavioral approaches to help you heal and move you forward. Relief from depression and anxiety, solving specific problems, and improved relationships are some of the things we can work on. You decide what is important to you and what we work on.
The results of counseling and therapy cannot be guaranteed. However, your emotional health, mental strength, sense of well-being, and relationships often improve more quickly than you anticipated. You may also grow in unexpected ways.
