I have experience working with a diverse range of clients seeking professional guidance including People of Color, African Americans, and People of Faith. I strongly believe that trust has to be established at the beginning of any therapeutic relationship as well as space to collaborate on the client's goals and desires.
I utilize the first session to really understand who my client is including the intersectionality of their race, gender, spiritual beliefs, community, sexuality, and past trauma. Therapy is unique to each client-therapist relationship. My goal as your therapist is to help facilitate the change, healing, and forward movement that you may seek. My hope is that through our work together, you will learn how to validate yourself, believe in yourself, and focus on progress, not perfection.

I love to write music, spend time with friends, and try new restaurants.
I pray and do mindfulness activities on a daily basis.
I don't usually read book more than once because I'm always itching to read as much and learn as much as possible. I will say some of my favorite books that I am currently reading are The Case for Faith and Queenie.
