Day-to-day stressors, relationships, money problems, and even social media can provoke anxiety, negatively impact self-esteem and diminish a sense of well-being. I know that the struggle is real. In this day and age, most of us would benefit from having at least one non-judgmental person around who can provide solid guidance in helping us work through troublesome thoughts and feelings. "Be yourself," I always say. I'm here to provide a supportive environment that will foster growth and positive change.
My clinical experience includes providing individual and group therapy, behavioral health consultations, and crisis intervention in outpatient and acute care settings to multicultural and underserved populations experiencing intensely challenging psychosocial issues related to mental health, medical diagnosis, and healthcare planning.
I provide culturally sensitive, individual therapy using a variety of evidence-based practices including the application of a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approach.
