Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused, Strengths-based
My main goal when working with anyone is very simple. I want to help people get exactly where they want to go. Sometimes we need to get unstuck and sometimes we are looking to heal or for deeper meaning. I use a basis of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a relational approach to support my clients through a wide range of life and mental health issues. I have extensive experience working with individuals in crisis as an emergency department clinician, but what drives me is the power of therapy. Supporting people as they change is my purpose and I treat the profession like a professional. I continually study the craft, seek supervision and expand my skill set. I am grateful every day that this profession found me because I haven't worked a day yet!

I have an active family who is my priority and I also enjoy motorcycles, CrossFit, hiking, and camping.
Exercise. This is the foundation for my mental health. The physiological benefits are well documented and there has been no better supplement to my work in mental health than exercise.
I have a healthy obsession with motorcycles that has taken me across the country and connected me to incredible people around the world. Recharging for me can include meditation or time on a motorcycle.
My family and I love our pets! We have a Brown Lab, a Maltipoo, and an orange tabby. We live on some property and plan to get chickens this year and a cow in the near future!
