Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Relational, Solution-focused, Strengths-based
I have confidence in the idea that you are the expert on your life; because of this, I use a collaborative approach. Working together, we look at the challenges you or your child faces.
I currently work with families, parents, children/teens, and individuals. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a nurturing, supportive, and safe environment for us to explore barriers and analyze the situation and stressors. I can help you develop coping skills, and learn techniques to create positive changes.
You can count on my empathetic and integrated approach toward every conversation we take part in. I like different approaches, depending on what challenges you are facing.

I love to ride my bicycle, exercise, and dance. I love trying new food and different restaurants and I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Growing up, I was always curious about others and wondered about their life stories, personalities, successes, and struggles. Individuals have expressed that they felt comfortable sharing their life experiences with me. My curiosity about others and my ability to actively listen led me to a career in mental health counseling. My years in the field allowed me to work with different individuals in numerous settings like schools, community health centers, and day treatment programs. My career path has solidified how important it is for individuals to have a safe place to share their stories while being reminded that they have the power to change the narrative.
I do self-care daily. It looks different depending on the day, but it might be a long shower, a facial, going to bed early, exercising, or connecting with friends/family.
The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz - it's a reminder for me of how to maintain joy and greater peace with others.
St. Jude, I have seen how amazing they are and how much they help families going through difficult times.
I exercise, get a good night's sleep, go out with my friends/husband, and watch my favorite tv shows. I also love traveling.
