Therapy Style

Are you looking for therapy services for the first time? Or do you have experience with therapy and looking to continue your journey? While I understand therapy can be a difficult journey, I also believe it to be an insightful conversation. Part of my goal is to assist people with understanding the root causes of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Therapy can also simply be a space to explore thoughts surrounding the difficulties of life.

My therapeutic style is person-centered with a specific focus on interpersonal relationships. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I can help people understand how life’s difficulties can sometimes be traced to relational patterns. I have experience helping people navigate through the difficulties of depression, anxiety, relational/family conflict, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, and stress management. My goal is to assist people in exploring and navigating their problems while highlighting and utilizing their individual strengths.

What are your interests outside of work?

My hobbies include cycling, reading mystery thriller books, and exploring new restaurants in other cities.

What book have you read more than once?

I have read Stephen King's The Outsider a couple of times as I enjoy discovering new details every time I read the book. While I often spend my days reading to expand my knowledge as a therapist, I find it just as important to read for pleasure.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by engaging in activities that challenge me, such as working out or going on a hike. Tasks that physically and mentally challenge me provide me with a mental break from daily routines.
