Therapy is the most effective through collaboration. In treatment, I strive to build a therapeutic alliance filled with trust and empathy, which ultimately paves the path to healing, growth, and insight. Through my years of experience working with individuals, children, and families I have been trained in many therapeutic modalities such as CBT, Solution-focused Therapy, mindfulness, and family systems. I now use these different modalities based on each person’s personal needs and goals. The main question is always, what do you want to get out of therapy?
I believe that every session should have gem (a piece of valuable insight or intervention) for you to take home and apply to everyday life and that at the end of treatment you will have a box full of them ready to be used in everyday life.

I love to spend time with my friends and family doing things outdoors and exploring new places. I also enjoy completing puzzles and DIY projects around my home.
I have two adorable dogs, a husky and a labrador. One is very regal and proper while the other is clumsy and playful. My favorite story of them together is definitely when we introduced my labrador puppy to our older husky and he immediately adopted him as his little brother. It was friendship at first sight.
