My Therapy Style

I work alongside all my clients, collaboratively, developing goals that matter to them. I have an extensive background in community mental health and have helped individuals cope with symptoms related to their chronic mental illness, substance use disorders, anxiety and depression. I also have years of experience working with Autistic children and young adults. In addition, I absolutely love helping couples and families work on improving their communication! Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a therapist in part due to having overcome some of my own struggles, so I wanted to help other people overcome theirs!

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy going to concerts and exercising when I have time. When I have the time energy, I love writing some of my own music!

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I try to exercise a little every day, as well maintaining a good work-life balance.

What book have you read more than once?

I have read 1984 several times. It always amazes me how much our society is beginning to look like the one described in the book!

Favorite organization/non-profit?

I think it depends on who you ask, but I'm a huge fan of the ACLU. I think, now more than ever, we need to stand up for our civil liberties.
