I take an eclectic, strengths-based, approach in working with people, and incorporate a recovery perspective that facilitates healing and personal growth. All of us are in recovery from some type of difficulty – managing intense emotions, struggles with self-doubt, substances, or change in relationships – and having a safe and empathetic space to explore these aspects of our lives can be transformative.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, DIY house projects, and being by the water.

What book have you read more than once?

The Color Purple by Alice Walker. I have read it at least each decade of my life since high school, and love the themes of female empowerment, strength of relationships, and adversity.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

One thing I do daily to support myself both mentally and emotionally is to take a mindful walk.
