My Therapy Style

I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for adults experiencing anxiety and depressive disorders related to unsuccessful relationships. In our work together, you'll learn practical skills to rediscover your identity and purpose. My approach to therapy is based on mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which allows for deeper healing than traditional talk therapy. Clients come to me looking for someone who “gets” what happened to them on a deeper level because therapy should be a place where you feel safe and validated.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I strongly believe that it is important to have a safe person to share our inner thoughts and struggles. Also, I am an excellent listener who strives to better understand others and implement ways to be supportive of those in need.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with my husband, children, and grandchildren.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

The one thing I do daily that supports my mental and emotional well-being is prayer and meditation.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by journaling my thoughts and feelings at the end of the day. I also take a hot shower and watch something that makes me laugh before I go to bed.
