I have a calm and gentle way about me, and I hope that translates into a positive and supportive therapeutic experience for you.

My Therapy Style

My therapeutic approach is a blend of Psychodynamic Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. What matters most to me in therapy is creating a safe and trusting environment for you. That's my top priority. People have told me that I have a calm and gentle way about me, and I hope that translates into a positive and supportive therapeutic experience for you. I’m passionate about supporting you in identifying the narratives and stories that may have been absorbed from your lived experiences and seeing if they still align with what is truly important to you in your life today.

Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

I like spending time outside, especially going for walks in nature when the weather is cooler. But I also really like staying inside, listening to some peaceful music, doing some puzzles, and spending quality time with my family. Hygge is my vibe (check out this book if you want to find out more about Hygge). I enjoy sports, whether it be playing basketball with friends, supporting my Los Angeles Lakers, or practicing the art of fantasy football. Oh, and I really enjoy a good DIY project, too.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I try to find pockets of quiet in my day. Life gets busy quickly, and it can be overwhelming at times. I like to be intentional with my time as much as possible and I might use that time to go on a short walk, read, meditate, journal, or just listen to some mellow music.

What book have you read more than once?

Some of my favorite authors/mentors are Brené Brown, Adam Grant, Kristin Neff, Ramit Sethi, and Bessel Van Der Kolk. I've read Ramit Sethi's book, I Will Teach You To Be Rich, a few times over to help me learn more skills and practices leading to sound financial health.

How do you recharge?

I look at what I need at that moment. If I haven't been getting enough sleep, then I'm going to prioritize rest. If I haven't had enough quality with friends and family, I'm going to try and prioritize social activities and real conversations. If I'm feeling restless, I'm going to get some kind of movement in.
