Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Solution-focused, Strengths-based
I come from a psychodynamic and solution-focused orientation, which emphasizes uncovering how previous experiences have impacted your life and unlocking your internal power and potential. In therapy, we look at all aspects of what makes you a unique individual to find meaning in present-day challenges and a real path to healing. Fundamentally, I believe in a strength-based approach that empowers, supports, and helps guide you through this process. My approach focuses on creating a warm, nurturing, and accepting environment in which this important work is done together.

My dog, Sydney is one of my best friends. She's a small Maltese mix with a big personality. Having her pop into camera view during a meeting when she wants attention or barking whenever the neighbor's chihuahua is going for a walk past the front window always cracks me up.
