I chose to work in mental health after observing the many pains and misunderstanding of people in my world who were struggling with untreated and undiagnosed mental health difficulties. My career trajectory began with curiosity and has evolved with curiosity, evidence and compassion since.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, learning and immersing myself in new cultures, books, foods and destinations.
I begin my days with exercise and time spent with family including 2 young dogs!
A book I have read numerous times since adolescence is The Language of Flowers. Each time I read this book, I am reminded of the powers of communication, perspective and connection in any form we are capable of connecting.
I recharge by resting, unplugging my devices, and opening a book as well as time spent with loved ones.
