Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

From an early age, I had the realization that my purpose in life would revolve around serving others. My interests in psychology, sociology, and assisting individuals facing various challenges have remained constant. This trajectory led me to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, devoting my career to helping individuals and families attain a greater sense of health and well-being.

What are your interests outside of work?

Some of my interests outside of work include hiking, dancing, and throwing pottery on the wheel!

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Meditation has really supported my mental and emotional well-being.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by being in nature.

Do you have any pets?

My favorite pet story is that I had a dream about my dog before I met her and in the dream, she had the gift to bring the rain to the land. Months later, I found her in the Humane Society and the day I brought her home, she walked straight into the middle of the yard, sat down, and moments later, it started to rain! We were in a drought and it hadn't rained for a very long time until the day she came home.
