Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I believe our purpose in life is to find our gift. This is usually what we love to do and what we are very good at. What gives our lives meaning is giving our gifts away to others. This is a second career for me, and I came to find my gift with a considerable amount of introspection and have loved collaborating with every client.

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending quality time with loved ones, gardening, music, learning new things, cooking, traveling, and improving both my physical and mental health.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Spending time with my fur babies.

What book have you read more than once?

The Four Agreements by Miguel Ruiz. The message is so simple and yet so powerful.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

The ASPCA because I think animals need us humans to be their voice and protect them.

How do you recharge?

I keep physically active, I spend time with my loved ones, human and fur babies, and I spend time in nature by exploring new places and gardening.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I do have dogs and cats! I decided to take a walk with my two dogs and after about 5 minutes into the walk, I noticed that one of my cats had decided to join us for the walk and completed the walk with us. I am sure you can imagine the looks and comments our group got from the neighbors and others passing by.
