Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

Life can be hard. I want people to know that they are not alone when having to navigate life stressors. I want people to feel valued and that they matter.

What are your interests outside of work?

Spending time with my family. Going for walks and hiking. Playing with my dog. Diamond Art, knitting, and other crafts.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Moving around. Whether it be by going for a walk, yoga, or stretching. Just being active for at least 15-20 minutes day.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Spaghetti Arms. My nephew has Duchene Muscular Dystrophy and this is his non-profit for raising money to help find a cure.

Do you have any pets?

I currently have my dog Emmy and cat Felix. One of my favorite memories is from my older dog, Zoey. She loved the snow. We had a snowstorm once where the snow was deeper than she was. She bounced around in the snow disappearing into the snow with each hop. She was having the time of her life and it was so fun to watch.
