My approach to therapy is integrative and individualized according to one's cultural background. I utilize a variety of interventions to help you navigate life transitions, grief, and distress. Social and cultural factors play a significant role in how we perceive the world and immerse ourselves in our experiences. Together, we will explore life's biological, psychological, and socio-cultural aspects to help facilitate decision-making, increase self-worth, improve interpersonal relationships, and improve quality of life.

I became a mental health professional to help support others through what might seem "the impossible". Often, we forget how resilient we are. I enjoy helping others remember their resilience.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reliving my favorite childhood memories through my children, working out, cooking, baking, playing tourist in my favorite city (SF!), and traveling.
I reflect on my day and remind myself that the difficulties I experience are temporary. I remind myself of what I have and practice gratitude.
The Polar Express. Not only have I read this many times, but I have also watched the movie dozens of times. My son cannot get enough of this story and I do not blame him. Even as an adult, it is nostalgic because it reminds me of a time when I believed in Santa and magic and that anything is possible as long as you believe it.
Institute on Aging is my favorite non-profit because its mission is to support older adults in maintaining their independence and overall health.
I watch my favorite rom-com movies.
I have a fluffy lion-bear dog named Barley. My favorite story of him is during his first days living with us. We had a blackout in our home and gathered at a table to play cards with lit candles. He cuddled by our feet and fell asleep. At this time, we learned we had a snorer!
