My Therapy Style

In our therapy journey, it's all about teamwork. We'll tackle your goals together, creating a safe space to chat about your thoughts and feelings without any judgment. I'll equip you with practical skills to handle life's ups and downs. Think of these coping skills as tools in your backpack for life's adventures. We'll go beyond the basics, exploring the real challenges you face. I'm not here to just offer advice or tell you what to do; I'm here to listen, guide, and help you discover your own insights.

The therapy room is your safe haven. It's okay not to have all the answers; that's what we're here to figure out together.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I know how it is to feel alone and stuck in tough times. I've been there. I want to be the support for others that I wished I had. Sometimes life can be amazing and sometimes life gets really hard. I want to empower people to know that they can make it through the tough times to get to the other side. I want to help them figure out what they want their life to look like and how to get there.

What are your interests outside of work?

My favorite thing is to travel. I love seeing the world and being exposed to different foods and cultures. Traveling makes me feel alive and content. I also love reading, listening to podcasts, photography, and going for walks.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Sometimes I get lost in my thoughts, so I try to do something mindfully each day. For me this might be a mindful walk, yoga or stretching, a body scan, or journaling.

How do you recharge?

My favorite way to recharge is to travel, but since that is not always possible I have found other ways that work too. I love to listen to podcasts or books on tape while doing diamond painting. Diamond painting is kind of like painting by numbers but with beads and I love it because it's calming and creates something beautiful even though I'm not artistically talented.
