I am a Strength-Based therapist that works to empower my clients. I provide clients with a safe, non-judgmental space where they can more deeply examine their inner feelings and find ways to overcome life's challenges.
My interests and areas of specialty are but are not limited to working with adults and young adults on issues of anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, career stress, burnout, self-esteem, and personal growth.
I hope to help you along your journey of self-discovery and to always provide you with a place where you can feel heard and understood.

I enjoy being outdoors, working in the yard, going on walks, exploring new places. I love sports, children, and animals.
I enjoy taking a walk in the morning. During my walks, I try to pay attention to nature's sounds and smells. I find these morning walks get me ready for the day and I feel more grounded after doing them.
I have read the book Molokai by Allen Brennert twice. It was recommended to me by my maternal aunt when I was a teenager. I read it then, and again in my 30s and I loved it just as much. My Mother's family is from Hawaii and this book made me feel more connected to her family's culture and heritage.
I have a pet cat that is 17 years old. She has been with me for what seems like everything. She is not a certified emotional support animal, but she might as well be. My favorite thing about her in general is that she is social and loves people. She will lay in a warm lap for hours if allowed to.
