My Therapy Style

I am cognizant of multiple realities that shift and differ pertaining to one's life experiences, socioeconomic status, citizenship, gender, ethnicity, and race, I apply culturally informed practices to assist in navigating through multiple forms of anxiety, depression, grief/loss relationship/couples issues, family strain, substance dependency/abuse and traumas. I provide mental justice and wellness to BIPOC individuals, families, and communities. Why did you become a mental health professional?

I enjoy assisting individuals in understanding themselves and in learning how to unlearn and relearn ideas, thoughts and patterns about themselves.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy seeing my friends over dinner as well as attending live shows with music! That fuels my soul. I also enjoy attending conferences about mental wellness.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I like to take walks at the park and also enjoy meditation.
