My Therapy Style
After earning my Master's degree in Social Work with an Emphasis on Hispanic culture at Our Lady of the Lake University, I entered the mental health world to explore my passion for supporting people to identify their mental health goals. I have the opportunity to work with a variety of people, meeting them in the community where they are, in an outpatient setting, inpatient setting, and correctional setting. I have experience with providing group therapy as well as individual therapy.

I wanted to be able to provide support with compassion.
What are your interests outside of work?
Making candles!
What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?
I will play with my pets.
What book have you read more than once?
Voices of a People's History by Howard ZinnIt because it describes American History from a more realist perspective from the people that lived it.
Favorite organization/non-profit?
My favorite non-profit organization is NAMI because they specialize in supporting the whole family and provide resources when faced with mental health limitations.
