My Therapy Style

I am a therapist who is deeply committed to understanding and respecting different cultures. With my background as a trauma-informed therapist, I have extensive experience working with adults, marginalized communities, and individuals who find themselves trapped in a cycle of shame, blame, and guilt.

As a therapist trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, you can expect me to be goal-oriented, collaborative, and actively involved in your healing process. I take a holistic approach that does not pathologize my clients, but rather sees them as capable individuals who have the power to make positive changes in their lives.

I want to assist individuals in unlocking their full potential and guiding them towards becoming the most exceptional version of themselves.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy reading, exploring new places, hitting the tennis court, and mentoring young soccer players.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Self-care is an essential part of my daily routine. It's the one thing I make sure to prioritize every single day.

What book have you read more than once?

As an avid reader, I have a deep affection for fantasy and fiction books. Among the many captivating series I've come across, the Sword of Truth series holds a special place in my heart. Introduced to me by a dear friend, this series spans across multiple volumes, each one more enthralling than the last. I've found myself revisiting the first book numerous times, delving into its intricate web of relationships, exploring the profound connections between characters, and marveling at their resilience in the face of adversity.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Among the organizations close to my heart, the food banks hold a special position. Their tireless efforts in providing ongoing nutrition and sustenance to families throughout the year make them an incredibly important and impactful organization.

How do you recharge?

I have discovered that the best way for me to recharge is by spending precious moments with my family and friends. Being in their presence fills me with a sense of contentment and warmth. Moreover, I thoroughly enjoy preparing meals to share with them, as it adds an element of delight to our time together.

Do you have any pets?

A family member passed down 2 turtles to us, which were initially given as a gift to our son. Over time, they have become our own pets. I must say, these turtles are incredibly tough and require very little attention. We thought they ran away after being unable to find them for 3 months. They were eventually found hibernating under the tree.
