I had two cats and a dog, who I loved tremendously, who all passed within a 12-month period (2020-2021). I didn't think my heart could open again after this tremendous loss. But, this year, Lucy, the beagle, found us. At first, I was resistant to letting her near but this little rascal has woven herself into my heart which I didn't think was possible.
