My Therapy Style

My focus in therapy is to create a safe and warm environment for us to collaborate on your treatment goals together. My specialties include using somatic techniques to help create safety within your body and process trauma as well as giving you tools to help manage any emotion dysregulation you might be struggling with. I also utilize a great deal of attachment and inner child work to repair any core wounds that may be impacting your current relationships.

I firmly believe that you are the captain of the ship, navigating its course, and I, as the therapist, serve as a dutiful co-captain. I will always show up for you and create a nonjudgmental space for your feelings.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I was teaching hip-hop dance to adolescents right after high school and found that I enjoyed helping and mentoring others. That led me to consider switching my college focus from law to psychology and the rest is history.

What are your interests outside of work?

I'm a professional musician, singer, and dancer.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Five minutes of yoga in the morning.

What book have you read more than once?

The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer. It's a wonderful book on learning to center yourself and surrender to life's experiences.
