My Therapy Style

I am passionate about helping clients who need tools to manage the stress of everyday life. I work with clients who experience strain in balancing different cultures, and internal, and familial expectations. I enjoy helping people learn about autonomy, core beliefs, and self-care. Deciding to seek help is a tough decision and I am here to create a safe space for my clients in this first step of their wellness journey. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, mood, and adjustment disorders. You are the expert of your journey and I am honored to help you align your goals with your values.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional to create access to mental health treatment for all and to help people. I come from a South Asian (Indian) background where there is plenty of stigma about seeking mental health treatment. My aim is to create a safe space for people who are from BIPOC communities.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy spending quality time with my family and chocolate Labrador, Coco. I love to travel, hike, and spend time growing spiritually.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I enjoy long hikes, working out, walks with my dog Coco, and yoga.

What book have you read more than once?

I love the Harry Potter series because they are filled with adventure, hope, and friendship!

Favorite organization/non-profit?

I have been learning more about Charity Water, which is a non-profit organization that creates access to clean water projects around the world. I also am a fan of a North Texas bases organization New Friends New Life, which helps empower trafficked and sexually exploited teen girls, women, and their children, and drives awareness of the issue and its prevalence.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by taking long breaks from social media and screen time. In between sessions I enjoy playing fetch with my dog, Coco, for an instant recharge!

Do you have any pets?

I have a big chocolate lab named, Coco and a family dog named Della. One of my favorite pet stories is when Coco got the zoomies during a hike. She had a complete ball and was so happy!
