My goal as a therapist is to support the people I work with in gaining greater insight into unhelpful patterns, develop and strengthen their coping skills, resolve trauma, and strengthen positive beliefs around their life purpose.
My therapeutic style is highly collaborative, trauma-informed, and person centered. I employ a psychodynamic lens and utilize primarily Narrative therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques.
Internship- MSW- Simmons University (courses: Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) UCSF Citywide Case Management- DBT consultation Group
To support others in resolving past trauma in order to lead healthier and happier lives.
Outside of work I enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible, whether that means going on a hike with my dog Georgie or hanging at the beach.
I deeply enjoy movement of all types but especially dancing, strength training, and pilates. I aim to get some form of movement in everyday even if it is a short walk in my neighborhood.
I have a small pup and my favorite memory of him was the the first time I took him to the beach. I thought he would play in the water but he spent the whole time digging in the sand.
