Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I have had very close contact with people who were mentally ill, which fueled my fire to get out there and try to help others. There is something very powerful about being able to hold someone else’s trauma in a safe place.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, you can find me being in total mom mode. I also love the New York Rangers so I frequent Madison Square Garden. I like being active and exploring new places and things.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I disconnect from all things daily. I will have an hour to myself to do whatever it is my mind and body want to do. Most times it’s watching a horror movie or reality tv.
