Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Relational, Solution-focused, Strengths-based
I have over 17 years of experience working in the field. I prefer a Strength-Based approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused brief therapy. I have experience working with first responders and the military. I am straightforward with clients, while also being understanding in order to challenge them to achieve their goals. I believe in the holistic approach of treating the whole person and often refer clients to help improve other areas of their life.

I have always enjoyed helping people and working in a helping profession. I think mental health is an important part of people's overall well-being. Being able to facilitate positive change in others is very rewarding for me.
I enjoy camping and traveling with my family. We often go on weekend camping trips to the beach, mountains, or desert.
On a daily basis, I tend to take about 20 minutes every day to relax, usually while taking a short walk. The walks really help me to relax and unwind from any stressors.
I enjoy riding motorcycles off-road and going 4-wheeling. Being out in nature and exercising seems to help my emotional well-being. Traveling with my family is probably my favorite way to recharge.
