I have over 10 years of extensive experience working with individuals, families and couples from ethnically and culturally diverse populations. The individuals that I work with are overcoming various life transitions from mental health issues, interpersonal relationships, career and academic challenges, grief and loss and trauma.
My goal is to empower clients to feel more comfortable exploring their wants and needs while helping them develop tools, skills, and strategies to move towards their desired goals. I utilize a multicultural perspective when helping individuals on their journey to improve both their mental health and mental well-being. I provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental, and authentic approach to my sessions. I am passionate about helping others and utilize a collaborative approach to therapy that draws on multiple therapeutic interventions and techniques that are flexible and uniquely tailored to address each clients needs.
I believe that clients are the expert of their own life, and my role is to help them highlight their strengths and help provide support, encouragement, and guidance on their journey so that they can become the best version of themselves.

Having a solid support system, whether from friends, family, or community members, can help bridge the gap between feeling helpless and alone and feeling supported and understood. Our loved ones may mean well; however, their advice may not be helpful or feel supportive at times. I became a mental health professional because I believe that we do not have to face these challenges alone and I wanted to be at least one source of hope along the journey.
I enjoy traveling, being in nature, cooking, baking and spending time with friends and family.
One thing that I do daily to support my mental health and emotional well-being is finding something funny or amusing to laugh at to bring some humor in the present moment. I believe that we are already hard on ourselves and bringing in a little bit of silliness back into our lives is a fun and simple way to de-stress.
I recharge by spending quality time with loved ones, taking walks and grounding myself in the present moment using various mindfulness techniques.
