I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that has provided psychotherapy, family therapy, and group services in English and Spanish for over nine years. I work with adults and families specializing in mental health and/or co-occurring disorders including depression, anxiety, trauma and chemical dependency. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and brief therapy to help you decrease symptoms while developing more meaningful life experiences. My goal is to work with you in a collaborative manner to increase your self-awareness, develop healthy coping skills and problem-solving capabilities, while using and developing your personal strengths.

What are your interests outside of work?

When I am not working you can find me reading or spending time with my family. I also enjoy daily walks with my kids.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

My daily self-care is being outdoors, exercise, or tending my garden. Being outdoors brings me peace and allows me to unwind and recharge.

How do you recharge?

I recharge through travel. I enjoy traveling to new and familiar places and learning about diverse cultures.
