What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy going on walks and hiked with my dogs, being in nature, and gardening.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I believe self-care is needed to support everyone’s mental and emotional wellbeing. My own self-care includes daily gratitude and mindfulness practices.

What book have you read more than once?

Man’s Search for Meaning is a great book about finding meaning and purpose in life even in the face of atrocity. It is a fantastic reminder about our resilience and ability to endure and overcome.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

Local animal rescues. Both of my dogs are rescued, and I believe firmly in the purpose and mission of adopting animals and providing education around this area.

How do you recharge?

Taking a mindful minute, spending time amongst nature and trees, and guided imagery.

Do you have any pets?

Hunter and Bella, my German Shepherd and Boxer mix, add so much joy and humor on a daily basis.
