My approach to therapy involves moving towards collaborative change and using scientifically supported treatments to help clients achieve the change they want to see in their lives, whether it be emotional, behavioral, in their thinking, or in their relationships. Because our past informs our present, treatment may involve clients both exploring past experiences along with working towards in-the-moment changes to help accomplish their desired goals.

William Wilberforce: A Hero for Humanity by Kevin Belmonte. An incredible story of a real hero of history. I was struck by his perseverance through strong social opposition as he joined with other brave abolitionists to put an end to slavery in England.
