I believe therapy is a collaborative process in which both my clients and I work as a team. The key to a successful practice is having trust, experience, and empathy. I work from a client-centered Strength-based therapeutic approach. This approach allows me to tailor each individual session towards a specific therapeutic need.
My clinical experience includes working with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and moderate to severe mental illness. I believe in a therapeutic relationship in order for a client to be able to express themselves and explore their concerns and worries and believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation to helping clients. I strive to bring my authentic personality into sessions to help create the trust and safety necessary for us to do work together.

I chose to become a mental health professional after realizing I enjoy working with people and being able to see progress, growth, and experiencing connections with a variety of people in my life.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, taking hikes, playing tennis, and playing with my dog.
I take daily walks.
My favorite organization is the PTA. I spent a significant amount of time working with the PTA on many levels. I learned a lot, made awesome friends, and have a desire to continue volunteering.
I have one dog. My favorite pet story is about my previous dog loved to watch TV. It was so fun to see him watch TV and expand his horizons of what he loved to watch including being very aware of the music that was associated with specific commercials that had animals in them.
