Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

My friends and family have often called me "the calm within the storm", and I love helping others by walking their journey with them. As a counselor, I feel honored to be trusted with people's stories and celebrate their growth.

What are your interests outside of work?

I am truly a "people person". After a long day of working with people, I love to spend time with more people! :) I have an amazing group of friends who are family and I love doing life with them. I enjoy long hikes in the Texas Hill Country and serving at my church. Currently loving exploring my new community in Dallas, Texas!

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I'm not really a morning person, but I have worked hard to create a morning routine that brings me joy and fuels me for the day. This includes my favorite caramel creamer in my coffee, a brisk incline walk at the gym, and time spent praying for my family and friends.

Do you have any pets?

I LOVE dogs! I had a shih tzu named Otis for many years who was my snuggle buddy! He passed away a couple of years ago but am looking forward to adopting a new furry friend soon.
