My goal as a therapist is to be and provide a safe environment for my clients and find the underlying reason for the issue at hand so that they can reach their full potential.

My Therapy Style

My goal as a therapist is to be and provide a safe environment for my clients and find the underlying reason for the issue at hand so that they can reach their full potential. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Mindfulness CBT components in my sessions. Since everyone is unique and different, your treatment plan will be developed based on your needs. Whatever you have gone through is not too difficult to work through and process. We will work together as a team so that you can accomplish your goals. You no longer have to work through it alone!

I have experience working with adults that have encountered various challenges such as infertility, post-foster, adoption issues, life transitions, and relational issues. I specialize in depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, and loss.

Get to Know Me

What are your interests outside of work?

My interests outside of work are spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to the mountains or to the beach.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Something I do daily to support my mental health is talk to my husband and sisters. They all help me to de-stress, process, and vent about anything needed.

How do you recharge?

I typically recharge by sitting outside on my backyard patio, sipping coffee, breathing in the fresh air, and allowing myself to sit and brush off the everyday stressors that can come my way.

Do you have any pets?

I have one dog, Scruffy. I love when summer rolls around, as my husband and I will always put him in the pool with us. I'm not sure if he likes it or not, but he definitely enjoys being cooled down and then running around the backyard, getting into the dirt and leaves from the bushes.
