My Therapy Style

I am a therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and families. I use an individualized approach with my clients as I recognize that everyone’s journey is different. I aim to create a safe environment by developing a trusting relationship in the therapeutic process. I work collaboratively with the clients to help them overcome stressors through self-growth and self-reflection. I focus on highlighting strengths and developing healthy ways of coping with life transitions. I specialize in depression, anxiety, stress management, life transitions, relationship issues, family conflict, and trauma. My treatment modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I joined the mental health profession to help clients navigate life stressors and transitions. At any given time we are all challenged with obstacles in life and getting help alleviates stress and provides comfort in moving forward. Helping others reach their true potential is rewarding to me.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love hiking, weightlifting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

Each day I do daily gratitude.

What book have you read more than once?

The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo. This book focuses on never losing faith and discovering who you are. It's a beautiful story of self-reflection and giving back to the universe.

Favorite organization/non-profit?

St. Jude Children's Hospital. Kids with cancer have a special place in my heart.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by working out and spending time with my family.

Do you have any pets?

I have two Pit bulls, Happy and Luna. They enjoy the water and love chasing the water sprinkler in the summertime.
